Max Heinritz
Software engineerMax Heinritz is an American software engineer and technology specialist who worked at Google as an Associate Product Manager on the Chrome Web Platform team. His work focused on advancing web technologies and making the browser a more capable platform for interactive applications. He contributed to the development and promotion of technologies such as WebGL, WebRTC and Web Audio, helping demonstrate their potential through experimental web projects. He has also worked on satellite imagery analysis at Google and later joined Flexport as a software engineer.
This presentation explores the potential of WebGL as a tool for creating interactive 3D experiences directly in web browsers, using projects developed with Google and LEGO as examples. It examines how browser-based graphics technologies can bring architectural and spatial design to life, allowing users to explore and interact with digital environments without specialised software. By combining real-time 3D rendering, web technologies and creative design, the approach opens up new possibilities for visualising spaces and making complex designs more accessible and engaging.
