Fashion designersZER Collection is a Spanish sustainable fashion tech studio co-founded by designers Núria Costa and Ane Castro, born out of their shared vision to revolutionize textile production. Blending high fashion, sportswear, and digital craftsmanship, the duo focuses on eliminating fashion waste through innovative digital manufacturing processes. Recognized with awards such as the Samsung EGO Innovation Project, ZER Collection combines creative fashion design with technological research, positioning themselves as pioneers in sustainable, tech-driven apparel in Spain and internationally.
Digital manufactured fashion is ZER Collection’s core production framework, utilizing additive manufacturing (3D printing) and automated embroidery to craft zero-waste garments. Instead of traditional cutting and sewing—which generates significant fabric scrap—their custom digital workflows print flexible patterns and structures directly onto lightweight fabrics or construct 3D-printed garments directly from digital CAD files. By producing garments strictly on-demand using recyclable, bio-based filaments, the project redefines the lifecycle of clothing, demonstrating how 3D printing and digital fabrication can make haute couture both eco-friendly and scalable.
