Bone of Water (Hueso del Agua) emerged from Teresa Jareño’s experience in Antarctica, including her stay at the Argentine Carlini and Marambio research stations. The project asks how Antarctic music might have developed if the continent had an indigenous population and its own artistic traditions. Through a sound and visual installation, Jareño invites audiences to experience the Antarctic environment from a reflective perspective, considering the relationship between humans, nature and cultural identity. The work also raises questions about environmental awareness and how people interact with fragile ecosystems.
