Media ArtistNieves de la Fuente Gutiérrez, born in Madrid in 1988, studies of Fine Arts in the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2006-2011). Studies of “Freie Kunst” in the Art Academy in Kassel (2010-2013) with an Erasmus Scholarship. Postgraduate Studies in the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne with a tutor position in the seminar “Transmedialer Raum” by Profesors Ute Hörner & Mathias Antlfinger.
“No habrá servicio los domingos ni en el cumpleaños de la Reina Victoria” is an installation composed by samples of my investigation in an old mining complex and a virtual reality video game for HTC Vive showing a martian-alike landscape. The analog and digital elements should interact and influence each other in uncontrolled and sensory detached ways. All the landscapes in the game are 3D scans produced with a photometric system.
