Neil Leach
Architect, theorist and ProfessorNeil Leach is an architect, theorist and Professor of Digital Design at the European Graduate School. He is also a Visiting Professor at Harvard GSD, Florida International University (FIU) and Tongji University, a NASA Innovative Advanced Concepts Fellow, and a member of the Academia Europaea. His research focuses on architectural theory, computational design and the application of artificial intelligence to architecture.
In this project, Neil Leach explores how swarm intelligence and the collective behaviour of biological systems can inspire new approaches to computational architectural design. The work examines how interactions between multiple agents can generate complex forms and design strategies, presenting examples of emerging computational architecture.
