Darkstar Project

Darkstar is an interactive public artwork conceived as a contemporary monument dedicated to the universe and the passage of time. The installation takes the form of a large black sphere displaying constellations of stars across its surface. Its light patterns change according to the phases of the Moon, transforming the sculpture into a cosmic clock that measures time through a continuous rotation of light. Visitors can also interact with individual stars, temporarily altering their movement and behaviour. By combining sculpture, astronomy, light and interactive technology, the project creates a meeting point between the urban environment, human perception and the rhythms of the universe.
