Audiovisual artistJaime Ramirez is a Guatemalan audiovisual artist based in Heidelberg who specializes in audiovisual and multimedia technologies. His work combines analog processes and digital media through disciplines such as VJing, projection mapping, light, sound, and the visual arts. His practice is characterized by a DIY approach and the creation of experiences that explore the relationship between reality and imagination. He has worked at international festivals and institutions and has collaborated with artists from various disciplines. He has also taught workshops on VJing and projection mapping, including at Technarte.
“We’re Da Robotz” is an audiovisual project centered on robotics that explores the artistic possibilities of technology in spaces and at events. The project combines elements such as sculptures made from recycled materials, three-dimensional canvases, electronic music, and projection mapping to create audiovisual experiences based on the interaction between light, sound, and space. The project also offers a human and artistic perspective on technology.
