Previous Editions – 2019

Art, Design and Technology at the Euskalduna

Technarte Bilbao 2019 took place on May 16 and 17 at the Euskalduna Conference Centre, bringing together projects exploring the relationship between art, design and technology. The edition featured projects related to digital fabrication, new media, artificial intelligence, lighting design, creative technology and digitally manufactured fashion.

Projects Exploring New Forms of Creation

The projects presented included Alive Painting by Akiko Nakayama, Glassworks by Tavs Jorgensen, Bio-Pixels: 2nd phase by Diaa Ahmedien, Neural Psychedelic Aesthetics – Deep Learning for Creative Machines by Eyal Gruss, and Digital manufactured fashion by ZER Collection. The programme also featured projects such as Airman by David Middendorp, Sleeping in the Circular Ruins by Szymon Kaliski and Poetic Cosmicity by Anabela Costa.
