Borja de la Maza
TechnologistBorja de la Maza is a digital artist, technologist, and designer whose work explores the connections between art, science, and telecommunications. His practice focuses on making invisible phenomena perceptible through advanced technologies, big data analysis, and real-time capture systems.
In *Network Dancers*, De la Maza transforms data flows from telephone networks into a three-dimensional visual choreography. The installation, developed in collaboration with Orange Spain, anonymously records mobile data traffic and voice calls in real time, transforming that information into abstract shapes that expand, contract, and undulate on screen like dancers in motion. The work offers an artistic representation of human behavior and society’s digital activity, giving visual form to the constant flow of telecommunications.
