Multidisciplinary artists

Pau García and Axel Gasulla are co-founders of Domestic Data Streamers, a Barcelona-based multidisciplinary studio established in 2013. Pau García is a designer and the studio’s director, while Axel Gasulla, a psychologist with a background in human resources management, serves as its General Manager. Together, they lead a team that combines design, engineering, data science, anthropology, journalism and other disciplines to explore how people understand complex information. Their work transforms data into tangible, interactive experiences that connect information with human emotions and social issues. Domestic Data Streamers has developed projects in more than 45 countries, collaborating with cultural institutions and organisations including Tate, the California Academy of Sciences and the United Nations.

Transforming Raw Data into Interactive Experiences

Domestic Data Streamers explores how raw data can be transformed into interactive experiences that make complex information more accessible and meaningful. By combining data visualisation, design, technology and audience participation, the studio creates installations and narratives that encourage people to engage with information beyond numbers and statistics. Its approach aims to connect data with human experiences, stimulate reflection and help audiences understand social issues from new perspectives.
