An Edition Dedicated to Experimentation
The 2024 edition of Technarte took place on May 17 and brought together artists, researchers, designers and engineers to explore new connections between art and technology. The programme featured proposals related to nanoart, digital choreography, sound and media art, independent research and digital experiences, with projects such as Fireflies that Tremble, Beyond My Skin and Face of Universe.
Ten Perspectives on Art and Technology
Technarte 2024 featured ten projects presented by Andrea Rassell, Cora Gasparotti, Dominika Sobolewska, Enrico Dorigatti, Flavia Mazzanti, Kate Reed, Olga Albillos, Seph Li, Tatsuru Arai, and the duo Xin Wen & JJ Agcaoili. Their work explored topics including techno-empathy, digital Darwinism, the sonification of body movement and digital surfaces designed to create visceral experiences.
