Where Art & Technology Meet
Xinye Lin is a multidisciplinary artist/designer/curator with architecture and urban planning background. She graduated from RISD (Rhode Island School of Design) in 2018 and is now based in San Francisco. Xinye’s work utilizes all the senses in an active and interactive manner where the depiction of methods to heal the mind, spirit and soul is not constrained to static projections of imagery. Rather inputs are tied to different human and environmental factors, such as motion, emotion, scent and mood.
Kaleidoscopic Meditation is an experimental artwork that explores the relationship of performance, sound rhythm, interactive visuals and healing art. It is inspired by ancient Chinese philosophy, Kam people culture, and meditation. The work combines digital paintings, live performance and the frequency of the Tibetan bowl. It is a beautiful interactive artwork/performance which delivers healing power to people.
