Kaleidoscopic meditation: An immersive live music and multisensory art experience for mental wellness
Kaleidoscopic Meditation: An Immersive live music and multisensory art experience for mental wellness is a groundbreaking interdisciplinary performance that bridges art, design, culture, and technology. This project transforms ordinary spaces into dynamic multisensory environments, fostering relaxation and emotional balance through an innovative fusion of music, visuals, and sensory design.
The performance draws inspiration from Eastern philosophies such as Yin-Yang and Wu Xing (Five Elements), blending them with modern technologies to create a transformative experience. At its core, the live multi-instrumental performance, led by guzheng, directly drives the visuals, creating a seamless connection between sound and sight. The artist’s music is captured in real time, with sound data such as pitch, intensity, and rhythm translated into dynamic kaleidoscopic projections, immersing the audience in a synchronized symphony of light and sound.
