WHO WE ARE
TECHNARTE RESIDENCY TENERIFE is a joint project of Technarte, TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes and ITER, with the support of Innovalia, for the development of an artist residency on Tenerife Island. This residency aims to link art, culture and technology, and will be promoted internationally.

Technarte has been several years exploring the endless possibilities offered by the fusion of art and technology. ITER stands as an international centre of reference for research into renewable energies, engineering, telecommunications and the environment. By initiative of Tenerife’s island council (Cabildo Insular), the Institute of Technology and Renewable Energies (ITER) was established in 1990 with the aim of supporting sustainable development and innovation on the island.
